The yoga teacher Alejandro Maldonado, taught classes on May 10 in Mexico City to commemorate all mothers at the time, in order to promote them to a healthy lifestyle.

Your lessons will be part of the 11th edition of "Yoga Festival in your neighborhood", which also involved experts in the discipline Rosemary Atri, Lygia Lima, Kothari Sri Mitra, Fernando Cuauhtli, Orson Vasco, Andrea Dattoli, Har Hari Singh, Livtar Kaur, Wise Hearts and Jeet Dev.

The event will be held on 9 and 10 May in the Park Arboretum of the Del Valle, where besides celebrating mothers with this invitation to a healthy life, free yoga classes, meditation and music will be taught. There will also be talks about the importance of this discipline for the physical and mental wellbeing of people.

As Alejandro Maldonado, who works in the television program "Today", he noted that the benefits of yoga include helping maintain immune system, vital glands, and strong nervous system.

He also commented that want to create "awareness of the impact it has on us both bad eating habits and emotional. This impact is directly related to chronic degenerative diseases caused by sedentary lifestyle, stress, anxiety, depression and eating behaviors unbalanced" he said.

The "Yoga Teacher", as is known, said that the practice of this discipline has spread to the capital, and develop people ranging between 20 and 50 years.

"Yoga is a technique through physical, breathing and meditation exercises, can contact your innermost being to know what happens inside you and improve relations with other people," he said.

The event will include a concert of classical Indian music with Gabriel Morfin and a string ensemble, vocals and percussion with traditional music group Alma Earth.
